One of my greatest honors has been the opportunity to be a dentist and care for my patients. I am thankful to have developed bonds and friendships that I will always treasure. After 41 years, I have made the decision to finish my clinical activities at the end of September 2026.

This journey, as a small office serving one patient at a time, has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Caring for my patients and improving the lives of so many people will be something that I will always cherish. It has been an honor to have been your dentist over all these years and I am thankful that you have trusted me with the health of your smile.

To ensure your care is not interrupted, I am happy to introduce Dr. David Schmidt from Lake Forest Smiles, located just down the road from my office at 825 Waukegan Road in Lake Forest. Dr. Schmidt is an extremely well-qualified clinician and a genuinely caring person. I have complete confidence that he and his team will continue my tradition of excellence in dentistry and personalized care. I look forward to seeing you in his office as fellow patients as I entrust my own and my family’s dental care to Dr. Schmidt.

My own professional involvement will continue by providing care for those in need. With more free time, I can focus on the next chapter in my life outside of dentistry, including enjoying more time with my family, traveling, and engaging in other gratifying activities.
